Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra Introduced in India: Setting a New Benchmark for AI Smartphones

Key Features of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has officially debuted in India.
The lineup includes three models: standard, Plus, and Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 is priced starting at Rs 80,999.

Samsung has established a new benchmark with the introduction of three powerful devices in its flagship Galaxy S series in India. The newly launched Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra represent the company’s most sophisticated AI-enabled smartphones to date. Building on the Galaxy AI concept from the previous year, the Galaxy S25 series offers a more intuitive, natural, and intelligent user experience. These smartphones are designed to facilitate seamless interaction, enhancing user convenience while prioritizing privacy.

A Genuine AI Companion Has Arrived: Launch of the Galaxy S25 Series

The Galaxy S25 series marks a significant evolution in our interaction with technology, featuring multimodal AI agents. These advanced agents are capable of understanding and processing text, speech, and images, resulting in a highly natural interaction experience. For instance, envision planning a detailed vacation by simply conversing with your smartphone—searching for destinations, comparing flight prices, checking hotel availability, and organizing events across multiple applications with a single command.

The multimodal AI technology empowers these smartphones to analyze and process various data types simultaneously. For example, if you are watching a YouTube video and wish to identify the background music, you can easily discover the song title using just a voice command.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has officially been launched in India, featuring three distinct variants: the standard model, the Plus, and the Ultra. The starting price for the Samsung Galaxy S25 in India is Rs 80,999 for the base model with 128GB of storage. The Galaxy S25+ with 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 99,999, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra, also with 256GB, is available for Rs 1,29,999. Notably, the prices for the Plus and Ultra models remain unchanged from the Galaxy S24 series, whereas the standard S25 model has seen a price increase of Rs 1,000 compared to its predecessor. Below are the features and complete specifications of the newly launched Samsung smartphones..

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Complete Specifications

The newly introduced Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra marks a significant advancement with substantial improvements in design, performance, and functionality. The device boasts a larger 6.9-inch display, an increase from the previous 6.8 inches, featuring more rounded edges that differentiate it from the sharper design of the Galaxy Note series.

In terms of weight, the S25 Ultra is lighter at just 218 grams, while maintaining the same 5,000mAh battery that has powered Ultra models since the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

A notable enhancement is found in the camera configuration. The primary 200MP sensor is now paired with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, replacing the previous 12MP sensor. Additionally, there is a 50MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, along with a secondary 10MP telephoto camera providing 3x optical zoom. The 12MP front-facing selfie camera remains unchanged but is expected to deliver improved performance for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in 12GB of RAM across all storage models — 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. This 12GB RAM configuration is same across the entire Galaxy S25 series, as Samsung has decided to ditch the 16GB RAM variant this year. At the core of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a custom-tuned version of Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset for 2025, bearing an advanced APU for improved efficiency and performance. Moreover, Samsung claims to improve the heat management by increasing the vapor chamber volume by 40 percent on the S25 Ultra.

    Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+: Specs

The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ continue to build on the hardware legacy of their predecessors. The Galaxy S25 features a compact 6.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S25+ boasts a larger 6.7-inch screen. Both models are equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S25 is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, making it an ideal choice for users who prefer a compact device with dependable performance. Its 25W charging capability allows for rapid recharging, catering to those with active lifestyles. In contrast, the Galaxy S25+ is enhanced with a 4,900 mAh battery and supports 45W charging, providing extended usage for professionals and multitaskers who require more from their devices.

This new smartphone series operates on Android 15, featuring Samsung’s One UI 7 interface right out of the box, and promises extensive software support, including seven years of operating system updates and security patches. The base model of the Galaxy S25 starts with 128GB of storage, while the S25+ offers 256GB. Both models come with 12GB of RAM as standard. Notably, Samsung has equipped all devices in this series with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

By integrating advanced AI, sustainable battery technology, and high-quality photography features, Samsung has developed the Galaxy S25 series as not merely smartphones, but as intelligent companions that adapt, learn, and enhance users’ digital experiences.
